About the event
As an organization made up of mostly Berklee students we recognize how much pain we are all feeling as a result of Berklee and Simon Price's "Detransitioners and Desisters" event. This morning waking up to the event not being canceled, but postponed, we felt our best move would be to provide a space for our community to talk and support one another.
This will be a virtual password protected event to insure we are able to provide a safe and supportive space for folks to talk.
*Please DM @lavandaboston for the meeting password*

We will be sending a list of local and national resources in the zoom chat throughout the duration of the meeting.
To all our trans, gender queer, and non binary friends, family, loved ones, and followers. We love you. We are here for you. We will fight for you.
Performers
Born and raised in Maryland, Christian Inman knew music was his purpose. He grew up singing in church, watching his father lead the praise team. Christian's parents noticed early on that he, like his father, had an intense passion for music, so they cultivated it in every way possible. After creating a buzz with his single, "TALK TO ME," Christian Inman returned with his latest track, "ALL I NEED" This song is a personal reflection for the artist, sharing the bravery it takes to navigate life independently. Christian's lyrics drive a message of self-assurance and self-love, encouraging listeners to connect with the authentic message delivered through the music. After two successful releases, Christian’s newest single, “EXHALE,” brings you back to the dance floor. Written and produced by Christian, the song describes a scenario where a couple tells the other to let go, take a breath, and groove. With luscious background vocals and a bass line that forces you to dance, Christian shows audiences to let go and have fun.
Lauren Jean is a Boston-based singer-songwriter. Inspired by Amy Winehouse and Led Zeppelin, her music floats within the neo-soul and soft rock realm. Taking from her personal experiences, her vulnerable lyricism covers topics like domestic violence, grief, empowerment, and heartbreak, especially within the LGBTQIA+ community. From middle-of-nowhere Ohio, she started her music career by gigging in restaurants and bars with her dad at the young age of 14. Only a couple years later, she won first place at Ohio Has Talent and appeared on the 18th season of American Idol. In 2022, she released a deluxe version of her debut EP, WORLD OF COLOR, in which she collaborated with the CMA winning producer, Ilya Toshinskiy, and the two-time Emmy award winning cinematographer, Herb Maximo. Lauren Jean began performing her own shows last year with a backing band made up of powerhouse women. She has also played an instrumental role in her hometown’s pride event called Small Town Pride for the past three years. Currently, Lauren Jean is writing her debut album while attending Berklee College of Music.
